Hammonasset Beach State Park
Hammonasset Beach State Park is the largest shoreline park in Connecticut. It spans over 2,000 acres of coastal landscape and includes two miles of sandy beachfront, tidal marshes, and grassy dunes. The park’s main attraction is its expansive sandy beach, which provides plenty of space for swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing.
