Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center

The Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center was established on Nov. 1, 2020, with the intent to advance the vision of Knights of Columbus founder Blessed Michael J. McGivney (1852-1890). The fraternal organization this New Haven, Conn., priest established on the principles of unity, charity and fraternity more than a century ago remains a strong influence in the lives of millions of its members, inviting them to be missionary disciples after Father McGivney’s example. The McGivney Center welcomes visitors to learn about this holy priest’s life and legacy, imitate his benevolent outreach to the needy and the outcast, and invoke his heavenly intercession.

On the 100th anniversary of Mother Teresa’s birth in 2010, the then Knights of Columbus Museum and the U.S. Postal Service conducted a special stamp cancellation ceremony featuring the new 44-cent postage stamp of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
